Terms of Service
Last updated: October 3, 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Rectifyl website and mobile app (the "Service"), built and operated by KHAIMA ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. The Service
Rectifyl corrects mistakes in texts written in a language you are learning, explains each change, and helps you practice. Corrections are generated with the help of artificial intelligence.
2. Accounts
- You sign in with a Google account. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country.
- You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your Google account secure.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.
3. Your content
- You keep all rights to the texts you submit. You give us permission to process them only to provide the Service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Do not submit content that is illegal, that infringes others' rights, or that you are not allowed to share.
- Avoid submitting sensitive personal information (such as health, financial or identity documents) that the correction does not need.
4. AI-generated corrections
Corrections and explanations are produced by AI and may contain errors or omissions. They are provided for learning purposes. Review important texts yourself; you are responsible for how you use the results.
5. Points
- Corrections consume points from your balance. The number of points depends on the size of the request and is shown after each correction.
- New accounts may receive welcome points. Administrators may grant additional points.
- Points have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged, and are lost when your account is deleted. We may change how points are priced; changes do not affect corrections already made.
- Failed corrections are not charged.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service, including by attempting to access it in ways other than through our apps and published interfaces, interfering with its operation or security, using automated means to send excessive requests, reverse engineering it, or using it to create a competing service.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, notify you in the Service. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, its software, design and content (other than your content) belong to us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
9. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose or accuracy of corrections.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (see Data Deletion).
